Leiber presents new design at Fi Europe

Life Science was at the heart of the Leiber presence at the biggest food ingredients exhibition ‘Food ingredients Europe’ (FiE) in Frankfurt. Under the umbrella of the new business unit ‘Life Science’ Leiber combines and develops all its product solutions for biotechnology, food and nutraceuticals.

Sustainability is one of the core concepts behind production at Leiber: refining brewers’ yeast into innovative products for people and animals. To continue this upcycling into the future, Leiber has decided to have its German production sites certified according to the ZNU Standard for Driving Sustainable Change in the future.

Modern, emotional and open – these are the words we would use to describe the new Leiber logo. We have carefully refreshed our word/image logo to represent the modern positioning of the medium-sized specialist in brewers’ yeast: continuity, innovation and sustainability.

Leiber invests in its plant in Poland

Since 2003, Leiber has operated a plant in Krośniewice, Poland, where about 30 employees extract various good quality yeasts for human and animal consumption. From April 2022, a new spray tower will be provided for this purpose, in which the liquid brewers’ yeast – the starting material for product solutions – can be dried efficiently.
